Reformation AM Podcast
This powerful message confronts us with a fundamental question: where else can we go when we've experienced the transformative presence of God? Drawing from John 6, we're challenged to examine whether our Christianity is superficial or deeply rooted. The sermon explores the moment when many disciples walked away from Jesus because His teaching became too difficult, too demanding. Yet Peter's response cuts to the heart of authentic faith: 'Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.' This isn't just about staying in church or maintaining religious appearances. It's about recognizing that we've gone too far with God to turn back now. We've seen too much, experienced too much deliverance, witnessed too many answered prayers. The message exposes our tendency to want God's blessings while maintaining control of our lives, to look spiritual on the outside while remaining unchanged internally. We're reminded that there's a divine order to salvation: the Father grants access to Jesus, Jesus provides the path to the Father, and the Holy Spirit teaches us how to live like Christ. When we truly understand this order and submit to it, we realize that going back to our old ways isn't just undesirable—it's impossible. We've been exposed to too much of God's goodness to settle for anything less than His complete transformation in our lives.
