Ricky Barnes is an American Professional Golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. Barnes played college golf at the University of Arizona from 2000-2003 where he was named first team All-American, as well as Pac-10 Player of the year. Barnes turned professional in 2003 and has played on the Nationwide Tour and PGA Tour. Cheyenne Woods is an American Professional Golfer on the LGPA Tour. Cheyenne developed a passion for golf and began playing at only five-years-old. In 2012, Woods turned professional after graduating from Wake Forest University. To date. Woods has played on the Ladies European Tour, LPGA Tour and Symetra Tour with two professional wins. Tim Markison is a man of many hats - he's an accomplished engineer, a successful patent attorney with his own practice, CEO and founder of a thriving performance athletic shoe company and, he's a survivor of child abuse. In this episode, Tim discusses his childhood and how his passion for baseball was the only thing that motivated him to keep going. His love for baseball and his knowledge as an engineer and patent attorney led him to create locally-owned and operated shoe company, Athalonz in 2014. Tim has designed shoes that help baseball and softball players, as well as golfers have more power and force simply starting with their stance. The company has grown from a small start-up to now a company with national distribution, supporting athletes from the Little League level all the way up to pros. His company features a roster of partners/investors from major league hitting coaches, major league pitchers and professional golfers to orthopedic surgeons and sports scientists. Tim's bigger purpose with Athalonz is to bring a voice to victims of child abuse and importantly, to put a stop to it.
