Beskrivelse

In this episode of Rooted Real Talk, I share why your failures don't define you God's purpose does. We all make mistakes, but failure is an event, not an identity. Through my own story of stepping into the plumbing industry with zero experience, I reflect on how God often develops our greatest potential through our biggest setbacks. Together, we explore how Scripture consistently reveals a God who sees beyond our shortcomings. From Ephesians 2:10, we're reminded that we are God's workmanship, created with purpose. 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares that our past doesn't define us because we are made new in Christ. 2 Corinthians 12:9 teaches that God's grace is sufficient and His power is displayed most clearly in our weakness. And Philippians 1:6 reassures us that the God who began a good work in us will faithfully bring it to completion. If you've been carrying shame over a recent mistake or wondering if God can still use you, this episode is for you. You'll be encouraged to stop viewing yourself through the lens of failure and start seeing yourself through the eyes of your Creator forgiven, redeemed, loved, and full of God-given potential. Remember, God isn't finished with you yet. Your greatest failure may become the very testimony He uses to bring hope to someone else. Head to rooted413.org for more encouragement

Episode 48: Dream big, then dream BIGGER

In this episode of Rooted Real Talk, I'm sharing some exciting changes happening behind the scenes, including the rebrand from Jamie Mallek to Rooted 413 and what God has been teaching me about vision, purpose, and dreaming bigger. As I've walked through this season, I've realized that while I may have plans and dreams of my own, God's vision is always greater than anything I can imagine. We'll dive into scriptures like Ephesians 3:20, Isaiah 55:8-9, Proverbs 16:3, Psalm 37:4, Habakkuk 2:2-3, and Genesis 15:5 as we explore what it looks like to dream boldly while surrendering those dreams to God. I'll share some personal struggles I've faced with visualization, limiting beliefs, and learning to trust God when I can't yet see the full picture. If you've ever felt held back by fear, circumstances, insecurity, or uncertainty, this episode is for you. My prayer is that you'll be encouraged to stop putting limits on what God can do through your life, write down the vision He's given you, take faithful action, and trust Him with the outcome. Because sometimes the dream God has for us is far bigger than the one we're holding onto. Dream big, but then let God show you how to dream even bigger.

episode Episode 47: Fear God, fear less cover

Episode 47: Fear God, fear less

In this episode of Rooted Real Talk, we dive into what it truly means to fear the Lord. Many people hear the phrase and picture fear as terror or punishment, but Scripture reveals something completely different. The fear of the Lord is a deep reverence, awe, honor, and respect for God that transforms how we live, think, and make decisions. Through powerful passages in Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Psalms, and Deuteronomy, we unpack why the fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom, knowledge, freedom, peace, and spiritual growth. We also explore the difference between fearing our circumstances and fearing God, and how placing God in His rightful position helps us overcome insecurity, anxiety, pride, and the need for control. Along the way, I share personal reflections on my journey from a lukewarm faith to wholehearted obedience, the freedom that comes from surrendering to God, and the confidence that grows when our identity is rooted in Christ instead of the world. If you've ever wondered what it means to fear God or how reverence for Him can change your life, this conversation will encourage you to draw closer to the One who is the source of true wisdom, peace, and abundant life. episode Episode 46: The messy middle cover

Episode 46: The messy middle

In this episode of Rooted Real Talk, we dive into what I call the “messy middle” that uncomfortable season between where you’ve been and where God is leading you. It’s the space where the promise hasn’t fully arrived, growth feels slow, and uncertainty can leave you questioning yourself and your calling. Through personal experiences and powerful scriptures including Jeremiah 29:11-13, Deuteronomy 8:2, Romans 8:28, Isaiah 40:31, James 1:2-4, and Hebrews 12:1-2, we explore how God uses seasons of waiting, testing, and preparation to develop our character, strengthen our faith, and teach us dependence on Him. We discuss why God’s process is just as important as His promises, how comparison and self-doubt can distract us from our purpose, and why waiting is never wasted when it’s surrendered to God. If you’ve been feeling stuck, discouraged, or unsure of your next step, this episode is a reminder that God is still working behind the scenes. The same God who gave the promise is faithful in the process, and the messy middle may be where He does His greatest transformation. Remember: God is just as present in the process as He is in the promise. Subscribe > YouTube https://youtube.com/@jamiemallek?si=fW8-lguwS6ep38K0 Rooted Report www.jamiemallek.org

episode Episode 45: Stop living random cover

Episode 45: Stop living random

In this episode, we explore one of the biggest misconceptions in today's culture: the belief that freedom comes from living without structure. Scripture reveals the opposite. God is a God of order, purpose, and intentionality, and the more we align our lives with His design, the more stability, peace, and freedom we experience. Together, we dive into how discipline, mindset, leadership, and structure impact every area of life. Through biblical examples like Noah, Moses, David, Nehemiah, Joshua, and Caleb, we see that God often develops character, consistency, and stewardship before He brings increase. The people who walk in purpose are rarely the ones waiting for motivation—they are the ones who remain faithful in the small things. We discuss why so many people stay stuck in cycles of procrastination, chaos, and overwhelm, and how a lack of structure can keep us from becoming who God has called us to be. Whether it's our health, relationships, finances, business, or spiritual life, lasting transformation requires intentional action and disciplined habits. This episode is a reminder that leadership starts with leading ourselves well. God has entrusted each of us with our time, thoughts, habits, and responsibilities, and learning to steward them faithfully prepares us for greater opportunities ahead. If you've been feeling overwhelmed, distracted, or frustrated by a lack of progress, this conversation will encourage you to stop living reactively and start building a life of purpose and intention. In this episode, we discuss: • Why God is a God of order and structure • How discipline creates freedom • The connection between mindset and leadership • Why chaos keeps people stuck • Lessons from Noah, Moses, David, and Nehemiah • The importance of stewardship and personal responsibility • How to build healthy rhythms that support growth • Why motivation fades but discipline endures • Leading your life, household, business, and spiritual walk with intention A life of purpose is rarely built by accident. It is built through faithfulness, consistency, and daily obedience to God. Let’s stop living random and start living intentionally.
