Shirt Factory Center Stage
Jim and Kim chat with two members of the Lancaster “kick-ass” Irish band, Salt Hill, fresh off of their incredible St. Patricks Day Performance at the Lititz Shirt Factory. On this episode of the Shirt Factory Center Stage, lead vocalist and guitarist, Shawn Gallagher, is joined by the band’s fiddle player, Mike Furjanic. They share the difference between the violin and the fiddle, their secret to staying together as long as they have, and what they’re up to when they aren’t making music together. While the band ramps up their Irish roots for March, they come from “a bunch of different musical traditions,” and can’t be “distilled” into a single Irish sound. Tune in to hear what makes them so unique.
