episode Richard Whitehead: Paralympic Champion and Marathon WR holder cover

Richard Whitehead: Paralympic Champion and Marathon WR holder

In this week's episode, we chatted with Richard Whitehead. Richard is the world record holder for the fastest marathon and 200m as a double amputee, 2x paralympic gold medalist and is the founder of the Richard Whitehead foundation that helps disabled people access sport. He's also just an all round positive, motivational and inspiring guy who we loved chatting to on the podcast. We talked to him about his journey into sports, his recent world record marathon in London, his 40 marathons in 40 days challenge where we ran the length of Britain for charity and how it felt to win gold at a home olympics. We hope you enjoy the episode, if you do please follow, give us a review and find us on social media @SonsOfOlympiaPod ! Thank you so much to Richard for taking the time to talk to us. Hugely appreciate you and best of luck with smashing that marathon world record again soon!
