Beskrivelse

Disclaimer * “While I will provide mental health, spiritual and wellness tips, this is not a substitute for therapy with a licensed mental health professional nor is it intended to treat or diagnose any specific ailment. Please consult your primary care practitioner.” "Med school graduation was one of the saddest days of my life. I was standing before a crowd of people who were happier about my accomplishment than I was. I had successfully completed my fellowship and requirements of becoming a doctor - but at what cost(s)? So many areas of my life were falling apart, frayed or no longer in existence. The irony is that when you start a grad school program you are reminded in orientation that 2 out of 3 people will either get divorced/end long-term relationships or leave the program. Neither of these scenarios applied to me, but the strain on my psyche to “hold it all together” had reached the point of numb detachment. I was able to maintain the outward emotional auto pilot that had carried me through my academic years, but on a much deeper level… I had all but completely left the building. " * Just because someone does something well in your eyes does NOT mean they enjoy it, nor might it be their calling.  * What does it mean to get larger than your plan, even if it means deviation from said? * Spleen/ST (Pensiveness) = DIGESTIVE ISSUES/POOR METABOLISM * LV/GB (Anger) = Qi stagnation/chronic pain/headaches * KD/BL (fear) = adrenal fatigue/chronic fatigue * HT/PC/SI (over-joy) = grandiosity/shen disturbance * LU/LI (grief) = asthma/SOB/skin issues (i.e. hives)/IBS
