Corruption and Politics: Mutual Bed Partners Like Hand in A Glove By Black Pearl You have to come to the sense that corruption and politics are like a hand and a glove. They are on a smooth-sailing course of making love. And the name of their love play? Greed. Just greed. And deception. And from that? Envy. Jealousy. And then the web— oh, the web— tangles you into one pretty bowl of how corruption and politics play their little entity game. But then. Then there's the other side. The needy. Always on the opposite side of the fence. No financial resources to back it up. No way to protect themselves. Because greed already put a rope around their neck— (slow) and basically… lynched them. That's the hauntai sense of it. Should we accept it? (sharp) Absolutely not. (build) Because look— look at the metaphors I gave you. Executive pool. Legislative. Judicial—the one that's supposed to be blind. State. Local. Federal. They all play the game. They're all bed partners. Making mutual love. Lots of cosplay. Lots of propaganda. (sarcastic, slower) They don't follow protocol. They don't look at prior cases. They just make decisions. Favoritism. Unfairness. And then they sugarcoat it— "Justice is blind." ( took out affirmative action. So now? Now this plays a role in the justice system. Criminal. Civil. Doesn't matter. (final, quiet, fierce) Hand and glove. Love and greed. Rope and neck. Removing the latencies, clearing the stands, A pale preparation by invisible hands. Now the Red Horse is here, its season prepared, Plotted and budgeted, nothing is spared. Stocks may be rising, but discord's the sound, As investments roll on with the war that's been found. No recession, no inflation—those words are now games, This is Armageddon dressed in different names. The Black Horse follows, and the skies aren't blue, The rain doesn't fall, and the dust starts to accrue. Scarcity economics, a reign of mere terror, The loss in the bank, the slow, creeping error. Food is a memory, alarms have no voice, In this new tragedy, there is no other choice. And last, the Pale Horse, for what can it take? God in the watchtower, for His own's sake, Gathers His children, the rapture is here, A moment of marriage, a vanishing fear. But for those who are left, in the ash and the glare, The devil has cake, and Nero's his heir. He plays on his boat as the city turns red, Laughing and streaming, with thoughts in his head. He stands in the silence, his plan is complete, Looks at the ashes beneath his own feet. Everyone's fallen, collapsed in the mess, He got what he wanted—but is this success? A kingdom of dust, a terrible cost, And the laughter now shows him what he has lost. Blood Bay. The waters are red. The harbor is silent. And now we realize - He is the universe’s curse. *Blood Bay. Now, we realize- He is the universe’s curse. But the final, ironic twist may be the most devastating of all. To stand in the midst of a ruined world, to have achieved the destruction you planned, only to find yourself alone in the silence, surrounded by collapse. To realize your great plan has ended in one big, hollow mess.
