This week Morgan and Leana talk about early sobriety as a young person. Leana is 25 years old with a little over 70 days sober. This week Morgan’s monologue is about the mystical body of Christ also known as the Church. In this episode he talks about how the church isn’t an organization or an institution, but an organism and how the faithful are active parts in that organism. Coming from a secular culture it might be hard to grasp that concept, but using his experience with hallucinogens, cultural identity, and group consciousness, he tries to bridge the gap for listeners.

#29 Forgiving the Church

Morgan talks about his process in forgiving and returning back to church. Spending his 20s and 30s exploring the various forms of religion and spirituality, being guided in the patient love of God, he came to know and understand the Church in its truest sense. Not a corrupt institution meant to oppress and pacify the masses, but the source and summit of the Christian life, meant to unify the world in love, right communion, and praise: The Mystical Body of Christ.
