She and Steve bond over their love of smaller portioned cheese curds before descending into some hockey talk. They revisit one of the most consequential days in Minnesota Wild franchise history, the day that Zach Parise and Ryan Suter signed matching deals to bring them to Minnesota. They also get into the Wild’s moves in free agency so far and Dylan Larkin rumors.

Steve Carney is going where the action is

Every Saturday at 4:07pm the meeting of the Steves commences. Carney was out on the water at 5:15am to beat the crowd and the heat. He’s been trolling around Becker County and had a great week of fishing otherwise. He emphasizes how important it is to try new areas especially when nothing is hitting your hook in your normal places. The Steves also touch on spin reels, let’s just say they don’t make them like they used to.
