Nick Nickolas 3rd. Born September 9, 1910, Nick was named after his father and grandfather. It was an odd moniker to grow up with during his school years, and became his trademark as a singer in the 1930’s. Follow Nick through his formative years in the 20's, His singing career during the 30's and his radio career in the late 40's and 50's. A complex somewhat shallow character on air, Nick is capable of emotional depth and personal understanding when standing alone . He is capable of going with the flow, and is open to opportunity when it presents itself. Even if comes in the form of a young female wanna-be news anchor with ASD named Tracy Albright. Follow the rise of RADIO GIRL aka; Tracy Albright as she transforms from shy adolescent and misfit teenager to Talk Radio Celebrity and the savior of WNYK 1150 AM Radio. Daryl Mundane; Backstory and Timeline, Part 1.

Daryl Mundane is the quintessential tragic hero of the story who transforms himself from a wounded warrior into the benevolent elder, loved by all. As a young man, he becomes well acquainted with suffering and sorrow from past mistakes and hazardous decisions. He develops an addiction to heroin and alcohol after a harrowing brush with death during the first world war and eventually recovers in New Orleans in the 1920's. Daryl is a brilliant radio and telecommunications engineer and contributes to the advancement of radio in the 1930's and eventually owns and operates an AM radio station with his partner Nick Nicolas in the 40's and 50's. Daryl Mundane; Backstory and Timeline, Part 2.

Daryl meets Storyville Madame, Countess Willie Piazza . Even though Storyville prostitution was stopped by city ordinance in 1917, Madams like the countess continued to live in their brothel mansions well into the 1920's. Daryl is invited to stay a la maison and receive treatment for his heroin and alcohol addiction. He recovers, and starts a new lease on life. Daryl becomes wealthy selling his patented radio components to large radio manufacturers in the 1930's.
