Stories of School Leadership
In this episode I am joined by Robyn Vincent, Headteacher at an outdoor school. She shares her journey through the education system and into teaching as a career including insights into being led, and learning how to lead. Robyn talks with passion about her own learning about seeing a curriculum through the eyes of the child and how vital it is that we teach from where a child is, not where we expect them to be. She shares fascinating snippets of her current role, how a fully outdoor school works and we explore the lessons we can take into mainstream practise from this sort of alternative education setting. I hope this episode inspires you as much as it did me!
