Hi friends! We finally get smacked by this storm we've been watching for a week and what a ride it is. From scrubbing bilges to full moon parties on deck, the storm was largely uneventful. After the blow, we rent a car and check out the island - and the most fun party at Shirley's Heights! After that we jump a ferry to Barbuda the beautiful!

Heyo! This week is no stranger to the roller coaster of living on the water. We have such an amazing experience in Dominica, get SMASHED by a house of a boat in the middle of the night, scooter around the saints of Guadeloupe, have one of the best sails of the season, and now prepare for a nasty blow in Antingua.

Dominica - Beautiful on the inside and out

Dominica is UNREAL! For real, it is. We get thrown right into the activities of Portsmouth at the Cruisers BBQ and meet an amazing couple - Lea and Marc - and spend some quality time exploring the island. From hot waterfalls to beautiful red rocks, Chocolate factories to getting invited over for coconut water drinks with some locals. Dominica has a big part of our heart <3

Ahoy there! This week on Sommer Wind, we've got boat guests adding a splash of excitement to our New Year celebrations with both new and old friends. Our adventure down the beach takes an unexpected turn as our new friends come to the rescue from dengue fever. We have a lot of anchorage shuffling, a close call with a tarantula, and the discovery of the world's most AMAZING kebab. Oh, and Travis learns just how French he wishes he was!
