Hey you guys!! Today I talked about one of the biggest pains, and I think one of the biggest voids in humans hearts. This is when we lose people. I think all of us have lost someone whether thats because they passed away, they left us, or maybe you were forced to be separated. I even gave my personal experience with losing my dad at a young age. But when this causes us so much suffering, it’s hard to look at God through that suffering. It’s hard to understand His goodness when we’re in so much pain. That is why I think it’s so important to realize that God will fill that void. God will be that father that you don’t have. God will be the mother you need. God will be that grandparent you lost. God will be that friend that you don’t have right now. Let Him be that for you. you’re doing too much for Jesus, but not with Him

Hey you guys!! today I talked about the importance of us discerning the moments where we should be serving and the moments where we should just be sitting still with Jesus. I feel like many times we act like Martha. We we want to serve, we want to join ministries, maybe even start a ministry, go out to the world and proclaim the good news, we want to love people the way Jesus loves, etc., But the problem is when we don’t act like Mary. We don’t sit with Jesus. There is no intimacy. We want to talk about a God that we can’t even spend five minutes with. We want to spread a love that we are not filled with. So, if we are trying to do all of these things without intimacy, it shows that we’re trying to do it for Jesus, but not with Jesus. It becomes empty because we’re not actually having the most important thing which is that intimacy with Jesus. you say God is first… but is He really?

Hey you guys!! Today i talked about idols. Many times we feel stuck spiritually or maybe we feel like we’re not growing in our relationship with God; everything feels the same. And most of the time the reason is because we’re thinking God is the center of our lives, but really we’re worshipping something else. We idolize social media, friends, family, money, social status, platforms, ourselves, we even let ourselves become slaves to our own emotions instead of walking in God’s truth through those emotions. This makes our ears and eyes blocked. How can we hear God we’re idolizing something else? How can we grow spiritually? why God’s word isn’t changing you

This points to the parable of the sower Jesus talked about in Matthew 13. We need to not only check ourselves to see which soil we are, which soil is the word God is giving you landing on; but also once we are actually rooted and producing, do we understand the value of that Word in order to truly recieve it?
