Our military history dates back to well before federation. One example still in existence today dating back to 1860, Fort Queenscliff in Victoria. It made Port Phillip by the late 1800s, one of the most heavily defended harbours in the British Empire. Dr Bob Marmion, Secretary of the Fort Queenscliff Heritage Association Inc. joins us to tell us more.
