Film and the narrative we don't discuss

While in college I took a course called Sociology of Film and it was awesome, minus the political whiteness and racial stereotypes that the so called feminist professor who taught the class failed so miserably at addressing.  Anyways if I was to teach the course this is how it might sound.

A double standard for Black athletes following Kamila Valieva and Sha'Carri Richardson

Can we get a solid answer on the difference" between their situations? Mediators ruled that Valieva should be allowed to skate regardless of testing positive for performing enhancing drugs.  While suspending Richardson for Marijuana use used to cope with depression and grief.  How do we address the double standard within the athletic community as well as the Black community?  Do we as people of color have a responsibility to uphold higher standards or does that higher standard actually backfire and shrink the voice we have?

Wow what an autobiography about Joe Baker III! This young man tells the His story of the journey he made into the life of dealing drugs and young black male survival, which eventually landed him in prison serving a ten year sentence to a complete 180-degree change..  I wont spoil the book but “The Life of Boo Baker” is a fascinating story that is sure to keep your attention as you seek to know about the intriguing life of Joe Baker III.
