The Biba Frequency
Ten months after losing my mother, I can say this with honesty: Grief dismantled me. It stripped away certainty, challenged everything I thought I knew, and forced me to surrender to a process I couldn't control. But grief also taught me. It taught me resilience. It taught me strength. It taught me how to sit in the darkness without trying to escape it. It taught me what truly matters. It taught me to let go of what no longer held love, meaning or truth. In this reflection, I share what I learned through the loss of my mother and stepfather, the experience of being broken open by grief, the continuing connection we can have with those we love, and the unexpected wisdom that can emerge from pain. If you're grieving, if you feel dismantled, if life has brought you to your knees, I hope this reminds you that you're not alone. Reflections on being human. Not arriving. Not teaching. Becoming.
