July 4 | Where True Wisdom Is Found

Today's reading from Job 28–29 and Acts 13:1–25 reminds us that while humanity can accomplish remarkable things, true wisdom has always come from God. In Job 28, the search for wisdom concludes when Job declares that wisdom cannot be mined, purchased, or discovered through human effort. Only God knows the path to true wisdom, and the fear of the Lord becomes the foundation for living according to His design. In Acts 13, Paul recounts Israel's history and shows that God has been directing His redemptive plan across generations, ultimately fulfilling His promises through Jesus Christ. The passage reminds us that God's truth doesn't merely inform us; it reshapes our hearts, our priorities, and the way we live among others.
