Black love. It’s beautiful, it’s layered, and sometimes… it’s complicated. In this episode, we sit down to unpack what Black love really means to each of us, both in romantic and platonic relationships. Ep 4: Internalised Racism

In this episode, we unpack internalized racism, how systemic beliefs of superiority have been absorbed within Black communities. We discuss how some Black people have adopted the very hierarchies that once oppressed them and how Whiteness is often seen as the ideal. The conversation then shifts to colourism, exploring how lighter skin is privileged within Black culture. From media representation to real-life experiences, we examine its impact on identity and self-worth.
