Meet Mergatroid — a fuzzy brown spider with eight hairy legs, a round little tummy, and a serious talent for spinning webs. He doesn't know he's creepy. He doesn't know he's scary. He's just looking for the best corner to spin a web and get the best bugs. But when giants start shrieking and things start falling from the sky, Mergatroid has to figure out this big, loud world — and whether any of these enormous creatures might actually be... kind. Inspired by the name my dad gave every spider he ever met, this is a story about seeing the world through tiny eyes, finding where you belong, and learning that not everyone is the same.
