Brenda interviews Michael Anderson, principal architect of Anderson Barker, a purpose-driven design firm focused on transforming challenged Black and Brown communities in the Los Angeles area and beyond. Michael details his pilot project which aims to increase homeownership and build equity. He also discusses his book Urban Magic: Vibrant Black and Brown Communities Are Possible which brings together many of the nation's Black and Brown thought leaders and is veritably a manual for effecting extensive change within communities of color.
