In May 2019 Trevor Evans MP was sworn in as Australia's first Assistant Minister for Waste Reduction and Environment Management. With qualifications in both economics and law, a business background in the retail sector and regulation and policy reform, Minister Evans now leads Australia's foray into waste and recycling policy reforms.
