As we wrap up our series on Christian Longo we thought it would be a great idea to include the interview we did with the author of "My Daddy is a Hero", Lena Derhally. We taped this in 2021 but had not had a chance to release it yet. Originally we had planned to kick season 3 off with a series on Chris Watts but we just felt that case was well played out and picking a family annihilator that maybe not everyone knows about would be much more effective. So, while our chat with Lena does focus a lot on Chris much of what we talk about can be applied to these types of killers. Welcome back to season 3 of The Good Wives Guide to True Crime. We haven't been here in such a long time and we can't wait to share everything we have planned for this season. We'll be covering 8 cases this year and then one season finale with another head-to-head on Darlie Routier. Tonight is the first of 4 episodes on the Christian Longo case. Christian was a young husband and father of three who struggled with his faith and wanted a more lavish lifestyle than he was willing to put the work in for. He brutally murdered his wife and all three kids and then fled to Mexico. The first episode is our four-part series for each case will break down just the main details of each case.
