In this inaugural episode of The Guidepost, Jake McGraw speaks with Dr. John Green about the causes and effects of net outmigration from Mississippi's communities. John is a professor of sociology at the University of Mississippi and the director for the Center of Population Studies. He also serves as the vice-chair of Mississippi's Complete Count Committee, which is spearheading the campaign to make sure every Mississippian is counted in the 2020 census.
