ANY BODY an interview with Sarah Torres
Meet Sarah Torres, one of the featured artists in Magnuson Park Gallery's upcoming exhibition, ANY BODY, opening March 19. Sarah Torres is an interdisciplinary artist living in Seattle, WA, working in painting and photography, creating work about the people and places that have touched her life. ANY BODY is an exploration of the body in abstract and figurative art featuring work from Cat Yang, Jia Jia, Oneyung Kim, and Sarah Torres. Through a range of mediums, the featured artists examine the body in all of its forms, bridging the gap between literal representation and the deeply symbolic. These diverse perspectives invite the viewer to contemplate the body as both an intimate, personal sanctuary and a universal subject.
