Beskrivelse

Thanks for coming back! The words we don't speak are what we are truly comprised of. Written by Robert Sward,  a dual citizen of both countries - the American and Canadian poet began writing poetry at age 15.  Sward wrote "All for a Day" in 1964 and was heavily influenced by a philosopher of Existentialism, Jean-Paul Sartre.  This poem appears in Sward's collection of poems, Kissing The Dancer. One clear indication of Sartre's influence on "All for a Day"  is the peculiar connection of "nothingness" and the words he writes, reads, and burns. Enjoy this short poem!
