Unexpected losses can sometimes be detrimental bullets that people have the longest struggles coming back from, but how often do we have the conversation around processing grief? Education is one of the most rewarding and impactful fields to pursue. Like any profession, it has its ups and downs, but few experiences compare to the privilege of shaping young minds who will go on to accomplish extraordinary things. According to a 2022 article cited by ResearchGate, fewer than 2% ofBlack men in the U.S. hold doctoral degrees. Today, we have the privilege of hearing the stories of not just one, but two young Black men who represent this powerful achievement—reaching such heights of excellence while still in their youth.

Dating in your 20s and 30s can be tough for some people, while others find the one pretty quickly. The thing is, with each experience, you never really know. In today's world, there are a lot of debates about what men and women should be doing for themselves and for each other, add being young and black in there, and WHEW.
