I mean, what is there to say? This week we dive into Paul Verhoven’s franchise spawning classic Robocop. We explored each of the really obvious questions, like “could he beat up the terminator”, “why does he shoot that man’s genitalia” and “does anyone else think Robocop is just a touch too camp?”. It’s not particularly original stuff, but it’s entertaining, I’ll tell you that much!

Episode 008 - Logan’s Run (1976)

This week we dive head first into some classic 1970s dystopian madness. Logan’s Run is a film with a title that precedes it, but seriously, have you seen it? I’ll give you twenty quid if you can tell me what the hell is happening here. What am I supposed to take from this? Is this supposed to be entertaining, or should I feel frightened that this might happen, because it won’t? I’m not sure what to do with this, all I know is that I will hopefully go to my grave having never seen this thing again. Starting Michael York and Jenny Agutter.

This week we dig into something a little more grounded. Ironically it’s a film that is set hundreds of miles above the earth’s surface! Alfonzo Cuaron’s Gravity is a visual masterpiece, recreating the experience of being perilously trapped in the earths orbit.
