Coming Correct & Creating Safe Spaces.

Coming Correct is simply leading with respect. It is respecting your values and choices and also respecting other people’s values and choices. Coming correct is essential in creating a safe space for yourself, within yourself, and for those around you. In this episode, I take you along my year-long journey of navigating challenges, integrating different parts of myself, practicing self-awareness and mindfulness, and being a better friend to myself. I hope that in sharing more of my story and my journey, you listening out there can get to see yourself in me, gain some insight from my story thus far, learn to take better care of yourself by coming correct and creating safer spaces for yourself and those around you, and simply start or continue being a better friend to yourself. There is a difference between loving yourself and loving being yourself. One is conditional on you showing up in a certain way and appealing to a certain aesthetic, while the other is unconditional and gives you the permission to ebb and flow and change and love every bit of the process of becoming you. So do you love yourself or do you love being yourself?
