On June 18, Elementl announced plans to build a Small Module Reactor Nuclear Facility in Meigs County. The facility would be the first of its type in the United States. With the news, there was much concern by residents of not just Meigs County, but the entire Mid Ohio Valley. WMOV's Tom Susman spoke with Dr. Edwin Lyman of the Union of Concerned Scientists. Dr. Lyman is one of the world's leading experts on nuclear power and facilites and discussed some of the concerns residents have and some of the issues the area may face once the plant becomes operational.
