The days pass slowly since you were interrogated by "The Council". Nobel hasn't been in touch since then, and as much as that isn't unusual, the importance of that interview weighs on your shoulders. Was this just Lucas being Lucas, or was he instructed that you were not to be contacted again? Were you now in danger? He had shared much with you already. Information that you are pretty sure that you shouldn't have been privy to. The days drag slowly, and the nights are filled with sleepless nights as the paranoia and the fear creeps in. You try to remind yourself that time is seen differently by immortal creatures. And you would like to think that Lucas would at least let you know if you were no longer permitted to know any more, but the more you think, the more you realise that there is much about your new companion that is still very much a stranger to you. After about a month, the fear has quietened and you do your best to try and settle into the not knowing. Then, you receive a text from Lucas requesting your presence in 3 days, Requesting you wear something fancy, and saying that he will send a car for you. The evening comes around. The job prospect unnerves you, as the danger is evident, but there is also something thrilling about it that you wouldn't get in other lab positions. You rejoin the doctor around lunchtime the following day, as requested. He is set and ready for you when you arrive and insists on going over safety features and protocols, over and over, until you are really quite frustrated with him, reassuring him that you have the procedures memorised. The next few days are quiet in the village. You reported what seemed to be a scouting party to the village authorities, but they took little notice of the reports of someone known to be troublesome. After days of your urging and begging, some of the villagers agree to go and scout where "you saw" the scouting party. When they return, they are filled with joy and cheers, explaining how there was a foreign band of men that were making their way through the wilderness; however, a freak landslide seems to have taken out nearly all of them. The survivors were soon dispatched by these villagers, who were now hailed as heroes. Soon, celebrations were in full flow in honour of the home-coming "heroes". It had been a significant amount of time since your most dedicated follower had been in your presence, and the attendants who come to you come with peculiar requests. The First Step into the Night || TASTE OF THE DARK (Pt 5) [ASMR] [M4A] Vampire RP

About a week after meeting Nobel in his nightclub, you receive a message from an unknown number providing a date, time, and location, and instructing you to wear smart attire for an important meeting. Normally, you would dismiss something like this as a scam, but since dipping your toe into the unknown world of immortal creatures, Something in the back of your mind tells you that this is an appointment you don't want to miss. You make your way to the allocated location at the appropriate time. A car pulls up and a door is opened. A seemingly young lady in the car instructs you to get in, and in silence, you are driven to a country lodge on the outskirts of the city. Upon arriving, you are escorted to a side room that is filled with all manner of interesting-looking individuals, and Lucas Nobel. As the door closes behind you, your stomach drops. You suddenly feel like a pump rabbit in a room with very hungry wolves. Without introduction, each of the individuals fires questions at you, like some intense interview. The questions come without rhyme or reason, sometimes probing, sometimes fickle, and sometimes extremely intimate, and you don't seem to have enough time to answer before the next one is fired. The minutes feel like hours, and when it is finally all over, you feel the exhaustion hit you like a train.
