A New Meaning to Political Science????

I never thought that science would become political!! For years, we are still fighting over the importance of Climate Change because of our ideology. Even COVID-19 has now become a partisan issue. Join me on this discussion with Trish Zornio, who is a scientist and lecturer in behavioral neuroscience and research methodology at the University of Colorado. She was also candidate for U.S. Senate in Colorado.

The Labor Movement-an introductory discussion

In this episode I will have an introductory discussion with Jon Perkins, who is a student pursuing a Masters Degree in Political Science with a emphasis on Labor Organizing. He was a letter carrier and was active with the Nation Association of Letter Carriers. He also served on the boards of the Denver Area Labor Federation and the Colorado Affiliate of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organization. I also want to mention that I made a mistake on this episode, I said the Justice Kennedy wrote the majority opinion of Supreme Court Case Janus vs. AFSCME, it was Justice Alito who wrote the majority opinion. Another correction, Jon mention is that the National Labor Relation Board has five members not nine.

Hempstead who is an activist, author, and public speaker. He is the author of the book “Black and Blue: Pathways to a Positive Interaction between African- Americans and the Police.”
