Dyson currently serves as an ambassador for two nonprofit organizations: Philippe Cousteau Jr.'s EarthEcho International and Student Voice. In March 2018, he was awarded The National Billy Michal Student Leadership Award by The National WWII Museum for his strong record of volunteerism, school and community activism, and helping to implement creative solutions to recognized problems. While interning at a world-renowned coral research lab and the Hawaii State Capitol, he has worked on a various range of issues related to ocean pollution by crafting a high-schooler-led initiative, Project O.C.E.A.N. Hence filed a petition against Fair & Lovely, demanding they change their narrative after years of advertisements and branding to sell a whitening cream. After years of protests against racial stereotyping based on skin color, HUL removed the word ' Fair ' from its popular brand ' Fair & Lovely '. She was a part of BBC's Creative Diversity Festival, 2020. Her campaigns have been on BBC, CNN, CNBC, and radio stations including Voice of America, NPR USA, Radio Mirchi, and on tv channels like BBC World News, India Today, and ABC news she joins us to discuss how society imposes impossible beauty standards on us and how we break these barriers!
