episode #4 - How To Do Family Worship Without Losing Your Mind cover

Beskrivelse

Family worship can feel hard and chaotic. In this episode, I give you a glimpse into what family worship looks like in our home—and share some simple, practical principles you can start using in yours. Here's a recap of our simple flow for family worship: * Read together. * Talk together. * Sing together. * Pray together. We do this consistently every night around the same time, and in the same place. A few things to consider: * It’s helpful to briefly prepare your child’s heart prior to reading the Bible. * Giving your child some degree of ownership over the time keeps them engaged and makes it feel more family-oriented. * If things get a little wild (they will!), that’s okay. Consistency is the point, not perfection. * Do not get frustrated with your kids during this time. Roll with the punches and get creative. * You don’t need to be a pastor or have gone to seminary to do this—you just need the Spirit and the Bible! You can do this.
