Season 2 · Episode 1. The How phase opens. For most of the history of running organizations, the person at the top of the table was supposed to be the person who knew the most. You set the direction, you held the plan, you made the call, and the organization moved on your confidence, because that confidence was an honest signal that you knew more than anyone around you. In a modern knowledge organization that has quietly flipped. The people below you hold more of the decision-relevant information than you do, and projecting certainty feels exactly the same from the inside whether or not the knowledge is still behind it. AI is the forcing function: once output is cheap to produce, fluency stops being evidence of judgment. This is the How-phase opener, the bridge that answers the fork The Choice left open. The industrial model reserved judgment for the top and paid everyone else for execution. As execution gets cheap, judgment has to become the working skill at every level, not hoarded in the corner office. Leadership stops being the apex and becomes three moves: gather the signal your organization already holds, place the judgment (who holds it, who decides, who owns the outcome), and route the work so judgment keeps up with the pace. Those three moves are the next three frameworks in order.
