In this episode of Turkish TV Obsessed, we discuss the season 1 finale of "As the Crow Flies.” Here's what we discuss: Is My Face Okay? Lale wakes up post-fight, head bleeding, living room trashed, but does she call the cops? Nope. She brushes it all off with one priority: “Is my face okay?” Talk about keeping your brand intact! Yusuf to the Rescue Move over, Olivia Pope! Yusuf sweeps in to clean up the mess Asli left behind, disposing of evidence and saving Lale’s public image—despite Asli being the worst girlfriend ever. Lale’s Redecorating Story Headscarf on, rug gone, coffee table mysteriously missing—Lale welcomes Selim and the kids home with the excuse of a spontaneous redecorating spree. But when her daughter steps on a stray shard of glass, even Selim’s chill demeanor starts to crack. Gul’s Power Play Gul drags Asli into her office for the ultimate showdown: “Prove to me why you deserve that chair.” Müge Switches Teams Asli taps into Müge’s pent-up rage over the Lale-Kenan drama, convincing her to betray Lale. With Müge’s help, they plot a newsroom takedown. Team Chaos is officially in action! Walkout in the Newsroom Müge’s plan to sabotage Lale hits a snag when most of the newsroom staff quit in protest. Turns out, Team Lale has some ride-or-die fans, and Müge’s left scrambling with only a skeleton crew to carry out the plot. Kenan Kept Busy Gul keeps Kenan distracted with a fake meeting about sponsors, ensuring he stays far away while the newsroom sets its trap. Lale Falls for the Trap With a concussion clouding her judgment, Lale reports fabricated news live on air. Meanwhile, Asli’s 75 troll accounts light up social media with a viral storm of #FakeNewsLale. Lale’s Mic-Drop Moment Realizing she’s been duped, Lale doesn’t back down. In this episode of Turkish TV Obsessed, we discuss the 7th episode of "As the Crow Flies.” Here's what we discuss: Asli’s Ankara Nightmare Asli’s new assignment in small-town Ankara is not going well. After a rough start with her cameraman, things spiral when she intentionally lets the van roll down a hill. Sad Selim Sets a Boundary Back at Lale’s house, Selim—who’s officially being dubbed “Sad Selim”—wants Lale to make a decision: either choose him and drop Kenan from her life or face separation. It’s a major moment, and Salim’s not backing down. Kenan Gaslights, Again Kenan doubles down on the manipulation, trying to twist Lale’s words by saying she didn’t really say she didn’t want the kiss. Cue major gaslighting vibes as he demands Lale meet him by the ocean to give him an answer. So creepy! Muge’s Apathy Hits a Peak Muge is over it. She’s checked out of the negotiation and doesn’t care about Kenan and Lale’s lofty demands. She’s been the third wheel for so long, and it’s clear she’s done. Drowning Dream (Metaphor Alert) Lale dreams of drowning in her own pool—only to be “rescued” by Kenan, of course. The metaphor is strong here, people. Kenan is dragging her down, and it’s time to break free! Asli’s Pneumonia Plot In a dramatic turn, Asli walks out into a storm and gives herself pneumonia! This girl will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Next thing we know, she’s in the hospital ripping out IVs, refusing to let sickness slow her down. Dedication, or destruction? Hot Husband Selim Bakes a Quiche While Kenan’s out manipulating and gaslighting, Selim bakes a delicious quiche for Lale and even gives her space to make her own decision. Husband of the year, anyone? Lale Finally Chooses Lale goes to meet Kenan by the ocean (without the peach shirt) and delivers a glorious line: “I’m Lale the ancient, and we’re finished.” YES, girl! She chooses Selim and family over Kenan’s toxic drama. Yusuf Snaps, Reveals BusBus Identity Heartbroken after Asli blows him off, Yusuf posts on BusBus, revealing himself as the mystery gossip blogger! The stakes just got higher, folks. Asli’s Downward Spiral Continues After getting fired by Kenan, Asli hits rock bottom. She smashes her fists against the door, throws her purse at a Lale poster, and is on the verge of losing it all. But she’s not done yet… The Showdown: Lale vs. Asli In a legendary scene, Asli shows up at Lale’s house and things get heated. After throwing insults and smashing a wine glass on Lale’s head, the fight turns more physical. They’re choking each other, smashing through tables, and screaming “die!” at one another. It’s raw, intense, and BRUTAL. The Cliffhanger Asli grabs a statue and cracks Lale over the head, leaving her unconscious and bleeding on the floor. Is Lale dead? Is this Asli’s show now? We’ll have to wait to find out! This episode is absolute fire, and the stakes just keep getting higher. From Asli’s ruthless ambition to Lale finally taking control of her life, we’re left wondering how this wild ride will end. In this episode of Turkish TV Obsessed, we discuss the sixth episode of "As the Crow Flies.” Here's what we discuss: Kiss & Chaos We pick up right after that smarmy kiss between Lale and Kenan. Lale pulls away and asks if he's drunk, but Kenan doubles down, whining about "mixed signals" and wondering why he’s "sleeping alone" while she has "two husbands." (Why choose, amirite?!) Selim's Not Buying It Lale gets home early, only to face an awkward interrogation from her husband, Selim. He’s not falling for the “everything’s fine” routine, and Lale’s response? Jumping straight to divorce talk! Zero to 100 real quick! A Major Burn Selim drops a bomb when he says, “Unlike Kenan, I can't just leave. I’m stuck here and I hate myself for it.” Yikes! The tension is real, folks. Lale: Walking Dead Vibes Lale shows up at the office looking like she just wandered off a zombie set—standing in the doorway like she hopes to disappear if she stands still enough. Muge: Not the Best Friend Lale vents to Muge, hoping for support, but Muge brushes her off with a simple “Eh!” and moves on. Friendship goals? Definitely not. Gul Is NO JOKE Gul, the queen of scheming, makes her move. She’s onto Asli and starts digging into her file—demanding to know more about the "lucky girl" who landed Lale's assistant role. Asli’s Phone Games Asli’s playing dirty. She fake answers a call in front of Lale, pretending it’s Lale’s daughter in trouble. Lale panics live on air, but like the pro she is, she snaps right back into work mode after confirming her daughter’s fine. Yusuf Drops Wisdom After Asli demands that BusBus (aka Yusuf) posts a scandalous rumor that Kenan’s sleeping with her, Yusuf delivers some solid advice: “It’s not about the climb, it’s what you do when you get there.” Asli’s too far gone to listen. Sad Boat Kenan Kenan is sulking on his mope boat (again) when Lale confronts him. Things get heated, but he insists he doesn’t want anyone but her. Lale’s not convinced. The Ultimate Showdown The moment we’ve been waiting for! Lale confronts Asli, calling her out for all the manipulation. But Asli’s not backing down and delivers a chilling line: “You can’t fire me now, because it’ll confirm you had an affair with Kenan.” Oof! Checkmate: Lale’s Revenge In an epic power move, Lale announces in front of the entire team that Asli is being promoted—to a small-town station in freezing Ankara. Good luck, Asli! Karma’s a cold dish (literally). This episode is hands-down one of the best yet. The manipulation, drama, and cliffhangers are at an all-time high. As the Crow Flies continues to deliver, and we can't wait to see how this all unravels!
