In this episode, I discuss the topic of negotiation and how I typically conduct my pre-play scene negotiations. Negotiating contact and play is one of my favorite parts of kink, negotiating offers you a chance to be open and honest about your desires and to receive open and honest responses back. I want to offer my sincere apologies for not uploading an episode last week. I was emotionally exhausted after being "ambushed" with a group debate on racism and Blackness in America. The first step to getting what you want is being able to ask for what you want. When it comes to sex, kink, and sexuality most of us carry around guilt, shame, and the memories of bad experiences, all of these things can make us hesitate when it comes to asking for what we want. In this episode, I'll start to unpack those feelings and share some of my advice on how to start asking for what you want.

In this episode, I discuss code-switching and how it has affected me and how I move through my world as a black man. As I start to unpack code-switching I was almost shocked to find a voice I never knew I had freely given up.
