Previously, he served the U.S. government for over 20 years, including as a Professional Staff Member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee and as a #middleeast analyst at the U.S. Department of State. He holds degrees from Dartmouth College, the University of Chicago, and the London School of Economics. Dr. Abdalmajid Katranji – Political analyst and expert on the Middle East, Islam, and Muslim American politics. He serves on the board of Emgage Action and the national board of the Syrian American Council, and has spoken at the United Nations, the United States Institute of Peace, the European Council, and the White House. Dr. Naim Joseph Salem – Holds a Ph.D. in International Studies from the University of South Carolina. He recently retired as Professor of International Affairs and Diplomacy at Notre Dame University–Louaize and currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the Lebanese Army Military Academy.
