WakeUp Daily Bible Study
Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly. Today we’re in Micah 7:7, and this episode is all about making a faith declaration in the middle of uncertainty. The Scripture says, “But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior, my God will hear me.” That is such a strong and personal statement of trust. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how important it is to decide what kind of person you are going to be when life gets difficult. Other people may live in fear, stress, frustration, and doubt, but as for me, I will hope in the Lord. As for me, I will wait for God. As for me, I will believe that my God hears me. This message is a reminder that declarations matter. What you say in the middle of a storm helps shape how you walk through it. When you declare that your hope is in God, that He hears your prayers, and that He is still moving on your behalf, it pulls your heart and mind back into alignment with faith. Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly also point out that these declarations help build self-control in your thought life. Even if you drift for a moment into fear or discouragement, when you have already decided who you are and what you believe, you can come right back to it. You remind yourself, “No, this is not who I am. I am a person who hopes in the Lord. I am a person who waits on God. I am a person who trusts that He hears me.” If you are walking through something hard right now, let Micah 7:7 become your declaration. As for me, I will hope in the Lord. I will wait for God my Savior. My God will hear me. Partner with us at wakeuptv.tv Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe.
