Our Purpose in the Palace

As we conclude the Joseph narrative, I want us to see the why behind Joseph's life: Why has God allowed this to happen, and why has God placed Joseph in a position of influence within Egypt? And to close, I want us to see what God wants to do with us.

From the Pit to the Palace

As we see Joseph brought before the Pharaoh and finally removed from the pit, we see the purpose of the pit all along. We see the qualities of the one whom God uses. Genesis 41.

God Working in the Pit

As we read about a season of God’s apparent distance and desertion in Joseph's life, we see that God is still at work, showing us that he is always bringing about the spiritual formation of his people. Genesis 40

God's Presence in the Pit

As we continue looking at the life of Joseph, we see that the Lord was with him, yet his life remained tumultuous. And we see that in all of this, as Joseph stays obedient to the Lord, he enters into blessing, as well as opposition.  Genesis 39

Salvation From the Pit

As we step into a story where everything seems to go wrong for Joseph, we will see how God continues to work in spite of sin and circumstance, and how he ultimately provides a way to save us from our greatest issue. Genesis 37.
