Beskrivelse

Have you ever said yes to something that felt completely aligned — prayed over, peace-filled, and ready — only to find yourself months later wondering what went wrong? You weren't being reckless. You believed. You stepped out in faith. And it still didn't land the way you expected. In this episode, Tracy Gainer unpacks one of the most quietly painful experiences in faith-driven entrepreneurship: the misaligned yes. Not every desire is created equal — some are God-given, some are need-driven, some are fueled by comparison, and some are simply fear dressed up as urgency. And they can all feel like faith. Before your next big decision, Tracy gives you three honest questions to run it through — a discernment filter rooted in Proverbs 3:5, Psalm 37:4, and Ecclesiastes 3:1. The three questions: * Is this really a need? * Is this really good for me? * Is this the best time? These questions won't make you hesitant. They'll make you precise. And there's a real difference between caution and discernment. episode The Gift You Did Not Ask For: How to Use Discomfort as a Tool cover

The Gift You Did Not Ask For: How to Use Discomfort as a Tool

You were never promised a comfortable calling. You were promised presence in the uncomfortable one. In Episode 7 of When God Rebrands Your Business, Coach Tei reframes discomfort from something to endure into something to actively use — as a directional signal, a growth instrument, and evidence that God is working in the exact place you least want to look. If you have been misreading the resistance in your business as a sign to slow down — this episode will change how you see it. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE * Why discomfort is often the most reliable sign that you are doing it right * How faith-driven entrepreneurs misread resistance as a signal to stop * The difference between fear contracting you and God expanding you * Three specific tools for using discomfort in your business right now * Why the thing making you most uncomfortable is pointing directly at your next breakthrough THE THREE TOOLS Tool 1 — Discomfort as a Directional Signal The thing making you most uncomfortable is almost always pointing at the exact place where growth is waiting. Name it. Because a named discomfort is a workable discomfort. Tool 2 — Discomfort as a Measure of Growth If everything feels comfortable you are not expanding. Comfort is the evidence of mastery. Discomfort is the evidence of the edge — and the edge is where growth happens. Tool 3 — Discomfort as a Faith Indicator The steps that require the most faith are almost always the most uncomfortable. That stretch is not a warning. It is the texture of trust being exercised. SCRIPTURES REFERENCED * Romans 5:3–4 — We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. * James 1:2–4 — Consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. * Isaiah 43:2 — When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. REFLECTION QUESTIONS FOR THIS EPISODE Before you close this episode — name one specific discomfort in your business right now. Not in general. The specific one that has been sitting quietly in the back of your awareness. Then ask God these three questions: 1. What are you trying to show me through this? 2. What are you developing in me because of this? 3. Is this the resistance of fear — or the stretch of faith? Sit quietly long enough to hear the answer. The CEO Seat Is Already Taken

The CEO seat in your business is already taken — the question is whether you're still trying to sit in it. In this episode of When God Rebrands Your Business, a Christian business podcast for women of faith in entrepreneurship, Tracy delivers an honest framework for what genuine surrender looks like inside a real business — not the declaration version, but the operational one. We talk about why control masquerades as responsibility, what it costs you when you keep reporting to yourself instead of to God, and what actually becomes possible when you let Him run the thing He gave you. If faith and entrepreneurship feel like a constant tug of war between your plan and His, press play — and bring your honest answer. 📲 Connect with Tracy on Instagram: @coach_tei Be obedient.
