Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2558298/fan_mail/new] Good afternoon everyone God bless you all This is another day the Lord has made We will rejoice For the Lord has been good to us The Lord has been faithful You see this is a wonderful day Whenever you have breath within your lungs that's a wonderful day You should be grateful to God for the gift of life because there are people that wanted to be in your situations There are people that need but they are not with us It was not important to them but now they are no more So that's why we need to glorify God That's why we need to set our sight on God because the Bible is our roadmap [00:00-41:19] and the words of God is our directions We are one of the most fortunate people today because we have breath It was not through mysterious outcome of our own It was the greatness of God So for that alone we should be grateful to God for the gift of life Now welcome back to the Winning Souls for Jesus podcast I am your host Paul Thomas and this is the podcast where we do not water down the words of God We do not water down the word of God to fit your needs We preach it straight and authentic We preach it whole We preach it the way it is written not the way culture wishes it was written If you are new here let me tell you what this show is all about This is not a self-help podcast This is not your best life podcast This is the Bible podcast where authenticity and scriptures are displayed And the Bible is not always comfortable The Bible does not exist to make you feel good about yourself The Bible exists to tell you the truth about God's words the truth about sins and the truth about the only way out of sins which is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior You see today's topic we'll be discussing sexual immorality and what God's word says about it This topic we'll be discussing it from scriptures We do not give our own opinions and we do not compromise Now as I'm speaking to you I already know some of you finger is hovering over the escape button Somebody is about to turn this off before I even get started I'm going to ask you to do me one thing before you can do that Stay with me because the truth is about to set you free It might make you uncomfortable It must make you uncomfortable because freedom usually does You see the Bible says in John 8 verse 32 "And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." Not the truth shall make you comfortable but the truth shall set you free So today we are not going to argue with culture We are going to open the words of God and let the words of God speak for itself And whatever the Bible says it has said to it it is authentic Not because I say it but because God said it You see scripture said in Isaiah 40 verse 8 "The grass withereth and the flower fadeth but the words of our God shall stand forever." Every opinion in this culture is a grass It withers It fades away It gets replaced by lesser opinions But the words of God stand forever It stands forever It stood a thousand years ago and it stands today And it will stand a thousand years from now long after our voice is in the dust You see God has given us opportunities to make a decision today a unique decision that will transform our life a decision that will have a significant impact on us Many Christians have heard these expressions such as evil spirit covering or evil covering curse You see while those exact terms do not appear in scriptures they are sometimes used to describe a life that has become deeply influenced by sin depression and spiritual The Bible does teach that there is a real spiritual battle and that believers are called to walk in the light rather than the darkness Most of all we practice all of those sexual immorality because we want to please our flesh We practice drunkenness because we want to please our desires We practice homosexual behavior because we want to please our flesh We practice promiscuity because we want to please our flesh Remind us that our struggle is not ultimately against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil At the same time scripture also tell us that Jesus Christ has authority over every power of darkness Everything you are facing today everythings you are facing that you do not have power over you have tried to leave sexual behaviors you have tried to desist for sexual behaviors but it is tough I want you to give your life to Jesus Christ today I want you to give those obstacles to Jesus Christ He will heal you You see the focus of Christian life is not fear of unseen forces but confident in the victory of Jesus Christ Give your life to Jesus today You may be a promiscuous person God can change you You are not too gone for God You may be practicing homosexuals God can change you You are not too gone for God God can deliver you from all of those things that separate you from Him Just run to Jesus Christ Spiritual bondage is real Spiritual view is real All of those things take you setback from God All of those things distance you from God We cannot see the spirit realms That's why God repeatedly warn us against lifestyle that has separate people from Him Distance Unrepented sins Unrepented sins harden the heart from God Hatred destroy our relationship from God Pride blind judgment Greed replace God with possessions Sexual immorality corrupt what God created as holy We got to repent Those things are all earthly desires But what will become of you when you stand in the presence of a righteous and holy God We got to make a decision right now When people reject God they often experience the consequences of all of those things Many of us we feel trapped in our sins because we reject God Many of us we feel guilty we feel bitterness we feel addictions hopelessness because our relationship with God is distant We got to fix our relationship with God Spiritual darkness and evil covering is real The gospel is a message of freedom That's why Jesus said "If the Son therefore shall make you free you shall be free indeed." John 8:36 Freedom begin with repentance Not merely feeling sorry about yourself but turning away from sins and turning towards God Your faith in Jesus Christ your obedience in His words prayers fellowship with other believers Distance yourself from things that separate you from God If you're listening to me today and you feel you are distant from God remember remember no darkness is greater than the light of Jesus Christ No failures is beyond His ability to forgive you No chain is stronger than the saving power of Jesus Christ The invitation of the gospel remain open to you Confess your sins and turn to Jesus Christ ......... Walk in a new life today No matter what you may you may be doing leave it Turn around and walk back to the cross Walk back to the cross of Jesus Christ Now before we get into the teaching let us pray Heavenly Father gracious King of glory King Jesus we thank You that Your light is greater than every darkness Search our heart and reveal everything that separate us from You Give us the humanity to repent the faith to trust in You Lord Jesus and the strength to walk in Your obedience Protect us from deceptions Help us to love what is truth and righteous and fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that our life reflect Your glory We declare our confident in Christ alone for He is our Lord our Redeemer and our everlasting hope Lord Jesus take preeminent control of our life Break every chain that has distant us from You Every chains of bondage every chains of deceptions every chain of spiritual blindness we destroy it right now by the blood of Jesus We set ourself free Our life is in the hands of God No devil have control over us Only Jesus have control over us Lord Jesus we call upon You this afternoon King of King Lord of Lord the God that never sleeps come to our rescue Deliver us from the hands of the evil ones and set us free from everything that has confused our mind Give us our real identity our identity You created us with To think that we are the next gender that we are not we break that chain right now by the blood of Jesus and set us free from every homosexual behavior and set us free from every drunkenness and set us free from every things that is not of You Every promiscuity behaviors set us free from it And deliver us from the hands of the evil ones because we want to live in Your presence We tell You thank You Lord Jesus in Jesus' name Now let's talk about what God actually says about sexual immorality and let's talk about the grace that's still available to every single person listening to me right now No matter what you have done no matter what you are doing no matter what you are struggling with today I want you to listen to me I want you to turn to Leviticus 18 Leviticus 18 Because what I'm about to say I do not want you to just hear it I want you to see it Turn the Bible to Leviticus 18 This go back to the foundations back before the church back before the cross back to the wilderness back to Mt Sinai back to the movement God was building a people set apart for Him Leviticus 18 scripture said "Thou shall not lie with mankind as with womankind It is an abomination." Leviticus 18:22 "Thou shall not lie with mankind as with womankind It is abomination." Don't Love the World More Than God: A Warning

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2558298/fan_mail/new] Welcome to the Winning Souls for Jesus Podcast My name is Paul Thomas Today we'll be discussing a very relatable topic a topic that we all can relate with the dangers of loving this world more than God The dangers of loving this world more than God You see we are living in a precarious time We are living in a precarious time a time when evil is no longer hidden in the darkness Evil is standing in the street Evil is sitting in high places Evil is being celebrated Evil is being protected Evil is being renamed Evil is being dressed up Evil is being defended and evil is being called good But the Bible warns us in second Timothy 2 verse one "This know also that in the last days precarious times should come." We are not guessing We are not confused We are not surprised because scriptures told us these days could come A time time where men could be lover of their own self A time where people could love pleasures more than God A time where rebellions could be normalized A time where holiness could be mocked A time where truth could be hated A time where compromise could be called lifestyle A time where disobedience to God could become the order of the day You see but the Bible warned us in second Timothy 2 verse 3 to 5 "For men shall be lovers of their own self covetous boastful proud blasphemers disobedience to parents unthankful without natural affection truth breakers false accusers inconsistent despisers of those that are good traitors." When you look around today you can see the Word of God unfolding before your eyes You can see the Word of God is unfolding before your eyes We are living in a generation where people do not want corrections They want affirmations They do not want truth They want comfort They do not want repentance They want permissions They do not want holiness They want happiness without obedience They want Jesus to save them but do not want Jesus to rule them They want the cross for forgiveness but do not want the cross for crucifications Hear me clearly The Bible also says in Galatians 6 verse 7 "Do not be deceived God is not mocked For whatsoever a man sow that should he also reap." Do not be deceived That mean deceptions is possible A generations can deceive itself A church can deceive itself A preachers can deceive himself A deliverer can deceive himself You can deceive yourself into thinking God will overlook what He commanded you to repent of You can deceive yourself into thinking grace gave you permissions to live in sins You can deceive yourself into thinking secret sins is hidden from God You can deceive yourself into thinking because people approve you heaven approve you But God is not mocked You may mock the preacher You may mock the church You may mock the Bible You may mock holiness You may mock repentance You may mock warning of God But you will not mock God and win You will not mock God and win You will not sow rebellions and reap blessings You will not sow lust and reap purity You will not sow pride and reap humility You will not sow lawlessness and reap spiritual power You will not sow disobedience and reap divine favor because scripture said in Galatians 6 verse 8 "For he that sow to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruptions But he that sow to the Spirit shall the Spirit reap life everlasting." That is the law of sowing and reaping If sow to the flesh you will reap corruptions Not maybe not possibly You will reap corruptions This is why the church must wake up This is why the church must wake up Because the church today has accepted this world The church today has compromised the teachings of Jesus Christ to fit into the system The church do not want to offend a congregations The church do not want to preach authentic biblical teachings of scriptures but they want to contradict the teachings of Jesus Christ to fit into society This is why the church must wake up because we are living in a time where people are trying to rewrite God's words to fit their sins But God does not change I want you to know this God does not change Because the Bible says in Malachi 3:6 "For I am the Lord I change not." Culture can change God does not Laws changes God does not Trend changes God does not So let me tell you something The church is in trouble not because the devil has more power than God not because darkness is stronger than light not because sins has defeated grace no The church is in trouble because too many people who name the name of Jesus Christ has fallen in love with the same world Jesus died to deliver them from The danger is not only outside the church building The danger is inside the heart The danger is inside the heart The danger is when a man can lift his hand in worship but still bow down to money The danger is when man can lift his hand up to worship God and still bow down his heart to money We're so greedy for money Money has polluted the church pro- compromised the biblical doctrines of Jesus Christ to fit into the system of this world The danger w- is when a woman can shout hallelujah a man can shout hallelujah on Sunday but on the weekdays live a worldly life The danger is when a preacher wants popularity more than purity The danger is when a singer wants a platform more than presence The danger is when a Christian want the blessings of God without separation from sins and love this world You cannot love God and love this world system at the same time You cannot be filled with the Holy Spirit and still be married to the spirit of this age You cannot walk with Jesus Christ while holding hands with this world Somebody may say "Brother that sound too hard." No it didn't sound hard This is not my opinion That is the Word of God You cannot love this world and love God You either love God or you lose yourself in this world You love the material possessions this world offer you Some of you go far by compromising yourself by compromising your dignity to fit into this materialistic world Some of you preach whole lot of prosperity messages but disregard the soul While many people are perishing many people's souls are perishing People are living in delusions P- people are living in deplorable conditions People's soul are perishing prefer preaching about prosperity than preaching about salvations than preaching about sins than preaching about hell than preaching about Jesus Christ We got to repent We got to stop compromising the gospel to fit into today's age The Bible says in 1 John 2:15 in 1 John 2:15 "Love not the world neither the things that are in the world If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him." Do you hear that I'm not speaking from my own interpretations I'm speaking directly from scriptures Love not the world That is not suggestions That is not motivational thought That is not a church slogan That is a command from the words of God Love not this world If any man love this world the love of the Father is not full within him Not weak in him not struggling in him not half alive in him The Bible says "The love of the Father is not full The love of the Father is not in him." That scripture alone urge believers to examine theirself because we are living in generations where people want to claim Jesus Christ without denying themself We are living in generations where people want to claim Jesus Christ without denying themself But Jesus said in Luke 9:23 if any man would come after me let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." Follow me Jesus did not say "Follow me when it is convenience." He did not say "Follow me when you feel like." He did not say "Follow me when culture agrees." He did not say "Follow me as long as you keep your idols." He said "Deny yourself Take up your cross and follow me Take up your cross daily and follow me." That mean the Christian life is not about adding Jesus to a worldly lifestyle It is about dying to the old life and living completely for God Dying to the old life and living completely for God You cannot love God and love this world They are not compatible They are incompatible You cannot love the Creator and love the creation at the same time because this world has been polluted by the evil one See when we talk about this world now when you talk about this world what does the Bible mean when it say "Love not the world" Maybe some of you do not understand when say "Do not love this world." But let me break it down to you What does the Bible mean when it say "Love not the world" Does it mean you cannot appreciate creation Does it mean you cannot enjoy the beauty of the sky the oceans the mountain the sea No This is not what scripture is saying The Earth belongs to God "The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof; and the world and they that dwell therein." Psalms 24:1 You see God created the Heaven and the Earth God make creation good God make the suns the moon the star the rivers the animals and mankind So when the Bible says "Love not this world," it is not condemning God creations It is condemning the sinful world system that reject God absorb man celebrate sins and oppose holiness That is what we are talking about when we say "Forego this world and put your attention to God." And the Bible says in 1 John 2:16 "For all that is in the world the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the Father but is of the world." 1 John 2:16 The lust of the flesh the lust of the eyes the pride of life You see there are 3 weapons the world uses to pull the heart away from God There are 3 weapons the world uses The lust of the flesh is the craving for what God forbid It says "For it feel good do it."
