Clothed in Grace is inspired by Colossians 3:12–17, where the Apostle Paul encouraged the believers in Colossae to stand firm in their faith during a time of false teaching, cultural pressure, and spiritual confusion. Rather than chasing new philosophies or trying to earn God's approval, Paul reminded them that they were already chosen, holy, and deeply loved in Christ. Using Paul's powerful picture of "putting on" mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, and above all, love, this song brings his words to life as a heartfelt prayer. It reminds us that following Jesus is a daily choice to wear the character of Christ, let His peace rule our hearts, allow His Word to fill our lives, and represent Him with gratitude in everything we do.
