5. Which cookies do we use?

The following are a list of cookies which are used by the site and an explanation of what they are used for. Not all users will be subjected to all cookies. Furthermore statistical and marketing cookies are primarily set by third-parties such as Google and Facebook.

5.1 Necessary cookies

pmo_c_acc Is set once cookies have been accepted. It is used to check if cookies have been accepted every time the site is loaded.

pmo_c_func Is set once functional cookies have been accepted. It is used to check if functional cookies have been accepted every time the site is loaded. Once it is set the functional cookies will be used by the website

pmo_c_stat Is set once statistical cookies have been accepted. It is used to check if statistical cookies have been accepted every time the site is loaded. Once it is set the statistical cookies and functions will be used.

pmo_c_mark Is set once marketing cookies have been accepted. It is used to check if marketing cookies have been accepted every time the site is loaded. Once it is set the statistical cookies and functions will be used.

podimo-token Is set once a member is logged in and is used to check user credentials in authorised areas.

pmo_creator If a user visits the site via a promotional page, this cookie is set. It is used to control the length of the user's trial period and to see where the promotional trial period comes from.

5.2 Functional cookies

signupFullName Is set once the name field in the sign-up form has been filled out. It is used to remember a users input to make the checkout process faster if it was not completed when it was first started.

signupEmail Is set once the email field in the sign-up form has been filled out. It is used to remember a users input to make the checkout process faster if it was not completed when it was first started.

signupOpen Is set once the sign-up dialogue is opened. It is used to remember the state of the sign-up dialogue, so that it opens if you during your sign up has left the site and entered it again.

pmo_loc Is set as soon as you enter the website with a country argument in the URL or when you change the country/language. It is used to remember your language when you enter the site.

pmo_lang Is set as soon as you enter the website with a country argument in the URL or when you change the country. It is used to remember your country when you enter the site.

5.3 Statistical cookies

HotJar A tool used to monitor user behavior on the site. The cookies they deploy on our site can be found here

Google analytics suite A collection of tools used to collect data on user traffic. Also we use it for testing purposes. A description of the cookies they use can be found here. We currently use the gtag.js and Optimize.

5.4 Marketing cookies

utm_source, utm_campaign, utm_medium are all set when a user visits the site from an external source where these parameters are part of the link. They are used to track where traffic comes from when users sign up for pre-launch campaigns.
