The Week that Was May 26th

A full house for last weekend's review in K League 2, K3, and AFC Women's Champions League final. It was a busy week for Mike, who attended the drenched AFC semi-final double-header in Suwon last Wednesday, before taking in the sights of Daegu for the K League 2 meeting of the home team and Ansan Greeners. Andrew was also in Suwon for the second semi-final and then attended the Final between Naegohyang FC of North Korea and Japan's Tokyo Verdy. Naturally, the impact of that tournament was discussed in depth. Luke also joined the show, bored because K League 1 is down until July 4. K2 R13 + AFCWCL Semis Preview

K League 2 - unlike the first division - keeps rumbling on, with 8 more fixtures this weekend. There are 3 more rounds before the World Cup break. The big news is leader Busan IPark are the odd-one out, taking a rest following their surprise defeat in Hwaseong. Suwon Bluewings return from a week off, to face Cheonan City on Monday, a bank holiday. This is a very big weekend for the three main chasers to Busan's top spot - Suwon Bluewings, Suwon FC, and Seoul E-Land.
