As we consider the three-fold office of Christ, we see that we don’t need someone else to represent us to God or God to us. We already have a Mediator. JESUS IS THE ONLY MEDIATOR WE NEED.

This time, they ask for a sign. In His answer, Jesus exposes their commitment to unbelief. In this sermon, Pastor Andrew encourages us with three truths about faith, leading to the conclusion that faith in Christ is the way in to God's family.

Their evil hearts are revealed in their words about Jesus. In this, the second of three confrontations between the Pharisees and Jesus in chapter 12, the Pharisees accuse Jesus of being in league with Satan. In His response and subsequent rebuke, Jesus reveals the ironic truth: the ones bringing the accusation are the ones who are actually in league with Satan. The counter-example of the Pharisees’ attitude toward Jesus reveals that THE KINGDOM OF GOD BRINGS TOTAL TRANSFORMATION.

Jesus makes some incredible claims and then backs them up with a controversial healing in the synagogue. In this sermon, Pastor Andrew compares the heavy and burdensome yoke of the Pharisees with the light and easy yoke of Jesus. He shows us that Jesus' is delightful because He is the Lord of rest, the law, mercy, and justice.
