06/21/26 - Why Offering?
As we continue our Why Church? series, we explore the question: Why Give? Looking throughout Scripture, we discover that giving is not primarily about funding an organization. Instead, it is an act of worship rooted in trust, gratitude, and generosity. From Old Testament tithes to New Testament generosity, believers are called to steward God's gifts faithfully and participate in the mission of sharing the gospel. Ultimately, Christian giving flows from the generosity we have first received in Jesus Christ.
06/14/26 - Why Communion?
As we continue our Why Church? series, we explore the question: Why Communion? Looking at 1 Corinthians 11 and other passages throughout Scripture, we discover that communion isn't simply a religious ritual. Jesus gave this practice to His church as a way to remember His sacrifice, proclaim the gospel, celebrate the new covenant, examine our hearts, and demonstrate our unity as believers. Communion points us backward to the cross, inward toward self-examination, outward toward one another, and forward to Christ's return.
06/07/26 - Why Sing?
As we continue our Why Church? series, we ask a simple question: Why do we sing? Looking at Psalm 96 and other passages throughout Scripture, we discover that singing is far more than a tradition or a warm-up before the sermon. God commands His people to sing because music helps us remember truth, teaches sound doctrine, engages both our minds and hearts, and encourages the body of Christ as we worship together.
05/31/26 - Why Prepare?
As we continue our "Why Church?" series, we explore the importance of preparing for worship. Looking at the example of the Bereans in Acts 17 and God's instructions to Israel in the wilderness, we discover that meaningful worship doesn't begin when we enter the sanctuary—it begins beforehand. Through Scripture, prayer, intentional planning, and meaningful fellowship, we can better engage with God and one another.
05/24/26 - Why Church?
As we begin a new series exploring the purpose of the church, this message asks a foundational question: Why church? Looking at Acts 2 and the example of the early church, we see that gathering together isn’t merely tradition—it’s God’s design. The church exists for teaching, fellowship, prayer, discipleship, and living life together in authentic Christian community.
