episode Ep 124: Future Juggalo artwork

Ep 124: Future Juggalo

I recorded this one from a park while my brain did what it always does on tour: bounce between pure gratitude, dumb jokes, and the kind of thoughts that hit harder when you’re alone with a microphone. I run through upcoming stand-up comedy shows, then veer straight into the big news I still can’t believe I get to say out loud: I’m headlining the Gathering of the Juggalos, in the butcher tent, on August 20. If you’ve ever wondered what a comedy tour diary sounds like when it’s unfiltered, you’re in the right place. From there, it turns into a weirdly heartfelt mix of nostalgia and curiosity. I talk about growing up around juggalos, the way “weird” communities can feel like home, and the very real question of how I’d even explain all of this to my mom. There’s also a moment of pure roadside joy when I spot a massive Santa Claus statue and spiral into thinking about how people used to build giant, ridiculous things together and why it feels harder to do anything like that now. Then the tone shifts. I share a story about accidentally hitting an animal on the road, the guilt that follows, and how I try to hold compassion without letting it swallow me. We end on what I’m working on lately: trusting my intuition, staying present while living out of my car, and saying yes to the next strange idea, including trying to rap for $300 as “Comfy Boy.” If you like comedian podcasts, travel stories, and honest talk about anxiety, creativity, and meaning, this one’s for you. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs a laugh, and leave a review if the show’s been hitting for you. What’s the most unexpected “yes” that ever changed your life? episode Ep 123: Jekyll Island artwork

Ep 123: Jekyll Island

Recording a podcast from a beach sounds relaxing until your phone is overheating, the ocean looks suspicious, and a family nearby is yelling like it’s a competitive sport. We’re out on the road with Discombobulated, posted up in the shade on the Georgia coast, letting the scenery steer the conversation: Sea-Doos ripping past, vacation chaos, and that specific touring-comedian brain where every random moment becomes a bit before it becomes a feeling. We bounce from pure riffing to real-life honesty fast. There’s the strange emptiness of “I love you” rituals, the whiplash of drunk “I miss you” texts, and the low-grade burnout that shows up when you’ve been driving city to city, sleeping in the car, and still trying to deliver onstage. We also get into the fantasy of money as an exit plan, the desire to feel grounded again, and what it means to keep creating when your life is basically a moving parking lot. Then the travel stories hit: watching Disney fireworks near Orlando while dressed up as Uncle Sam, standing among Disney adults who can flip from normal dinner mode to full soundtrack devotion in seconds. Add a broken hotel hot tub, a poolside makeout scene that feels illegal to witness, and a final stretch of coastal driving that lands on Jekyll Island at sunset. If you like comedian podcasts, road stories, and unfiltered behind-the-scenes tour life, this one has all of it. If you laughed or related even a little, subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so we can keep this thing moving. What part hit you the hardest: the beach chaos, the Disney moment, or the car-sleeping honesty? episode Ep 122: Raven Rock artwork

Ep 122: Raven Rock

I recorded this one on a real hike, which means you get everything unfiltered: sunscreen melting off, DEET getting sprayed on anything that isn’t my face, and me trying to sound calm while quietly assuming a bear is about to collect me. We start with tour dates (Raleigh, Indianapolis, St. Charles) and then head straight into Raven Rock State Park, where the quiet trails feel peaceful right up until your brain decides silence is the perfect time to spiral. Somewhere between bad angles, loose shoes, and trail signs that make me question my sense of direction, I tell a story I still can’t shake: the time I was on psychedelics, had to go pee, and felt completely certain a bear was waiting to end the night. It’s funny because it’s ridiculous, but it’s also real because fear doesn’t care if you’re being reasonable. That thread turns into a bigger idea about solo hiking, outdoor mindfulness, and how nature can reset you even when you’re not doing it “right.” Then the payoff arrives when we hit the water and the Cape Fear River opens up in front of us. I try to show you the view, try not to drop my phone into the river, and immediately start wondering why we ever stopped drinking straight from streams, before remembering all the reasons. If you want a comedian’s nature walk that bounces between awe, anxiety, and dumb jokes, this is it. Subscribe, share it with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review with your favorite bit or your worst hiking fear. episode Ep 121: Vibration Plate Therapy artwork

Ep 121: Vibration Plate Therapy

A vibrating wellness gadget, a brain that will not sit still, and a comedian trying to hold it together between tour stops. I’m on the road and I decide to record while sitting on a vibration plate that is allegedly here to “center” me, but mostly it turns my inner monologue into a live-action stress test. If you’ve ever tried to self-care your way out of a messy week, you’ll recognize the feeling: you want relief, you want progress, and you want it to happen right now. Along the way, I talk stand-up comedy tour life and what it’s like to build a set while traveling. Old jokes are the safety net, new jokes are the gamble, and some nights you genuinely do not know if a line is even a joke until the crowd tells you. We also get into motivational videos and the weird split between “gentle encouragement” and “delete your phone and become a machine,” plus why neither works if it makes you miserable. We close on the real takeaway: I don’t think everything happens for a reason, but I do think you can make a reason out of what happens. If you’re juggling anxiety, ambition, and a calendar that won’t slow down, this one is a chaotic little reminder that meaning is something you build, not something you wait for. Subscribe for more, share this with a friend who needs a laugh, and leave a review if the show helps. Then come see me on tour and tell me what setting you think the vibration plate should be on. episode 102: Six Flags artwork

102: Six Flags

Six Flags as a kid is pure chaos. Six Flags as an adult is a different kind of chaos, and honestly, it might be better. I’m talking hands-up bravado, “I forgot my phone was in my pocket” panic, and the realization that some rides you loved at 12 now feel like a personal attack on your neck. I share what it’s like going back to Six Flags St. Louis for its final season, chasing the biggest coasters, and trying to enjoy the day without turning it into a whole production.  We get into the stuff you only notice when you’re older: the park changing its identity, the weird comfort of familiar themes like Batman and Mr. Freeze, and the way nostalgia can hit you in the middle of a line. There’s also a surprisingly real thread about height checks and what it does to a kid when they’re brave enough but not tall enough. One moment breaks my heart, another turns into a tiny victory, and both stick with me more than any loop or drop.  Of course, it wouldn’t be Discombobulated without face paint, public embarrassment, and a few “what is happening right now” detours, plus some honest talk about self-care, fiber, and finding balance between grinding too hard and partying too hard. If you like comedy storytelling, theme park nostalgia, and chaotic life updates, hit play and ride along. Subscribe, share this with a friend who loves roller coasters, and leave a review so more people can find the show.
