Rest As Resistance

How does the spiritual discipline of Sabbath act a sign of our liberation in God? To the people of Israel, it was a direct reminder that God rescued them out of literal slavery. For us today, it is also a reminder and form of resistance against the pseudo gods of our time that try to enslave us.
