Different forms of magnesium help with different health issues. Learn more about the benefits of magnesium L-threonate. For more details on this topic, check out the full article on the website: ➡️https://drbrg.co/4dtxsbx DATA: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9820677/ 0:00 Introduction: Magnesium explained 0:10 What is magnesium L-threonate? 0:45 Benefits of magnesium threonate? 5:18 What is the best type of magnesium? 5:40 Get unfiltered health information by signing up for my newsletter Magnesium comes in many different forms. Today, I want to cover magnesium threonate or magnesium L-threonate. This is a specific type of magnesium. Threonate transports magnesium across the blood-brain barrier to the hippocampus. The hippocampus is involved in memory, learning, focus, and concentration. People typically take magnesium L-threonate when they want to support the brain. A magnesium deficiency can lead to various issues related to the brain and throughout the body. Benefits of magnesium L-threonate: • It may help reduce worry and anxiety (especially when trying to sleep) • It may help decrease neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration • It’s a calcium regulator and antagonist • It helps maintain and support the blood-brain barrier • It can act as an antioxidant • It helps support BDNF • It may help with androgenic alopecia If you want to use magnesium to support the brain, I would use magnesium threonate. To support other issues like cramping or fatigue or to support the heart, I would take magnesium glycinate. Magnesium citrate can be helpful as well, especially to help prevent kidney stones. In this video, we’ll discuss some of ginger’s health benefits and when it may not be an appropriate remedy. For thousands of years, ginger has been used as a powerful remedy for many conditions. Some of the amazing benefits of ginger include: • Antimicrobial properties • Anti-inflammatory properties • Anti-diabetic properties • Anti-cancer properties • Helping with menstrual pain • Helping with arthritis • Increasing HDL • Improving heartburn One of the most well-known uses of ginger is its ability to relieve nausea. Ginger can help with nausea associated with chemotherapy, pregnancy, menstruation, and surgery. Ginger has some contraindications, so it may not always be the best remedy for you. Don’t take ginger if you’re on Warfarin or other blood thinners like aspirin. Ginger helps thin the blood, so you also won’t want to take it if you have a bleeding disorder. Ginger inhibits insulin, so don’t take it if you’re on insulin. Ginger can lower blood pressure, so avoid it if you’re taking blood pressure medication. Ginger also stimulates the gallbladder, so don’t consume it if you have gallstones. Alternative plant-based animal products may sound like a healthy option at first. But find out how fake meat, cheese, and eggs are actually damaging your health. Watch my interview with Dr. James White: ▶️ https://youtu.be/CQtX_Xu8H3Q For more details on this topic, check out the full article on the website: ➡️ https://drbrg.co/3PT8yYW 0:00 Introduction: Are fake meats healthy? 2:15 The Impossible Burger and Beyond Burger 4:58 What makes grass-fed meat healthy? 8:45 Check out this video on grass-fed beef vs. grain-fed beef! Let’s talk about fake meats—like meatless burgers, for example, and why they’re bad for your health. As people are testing out alternative animal products like fake meat, cheese, and eggs, their health will suffer because the ingredients are not actually healthy. Plant-based, fake animal products are not sustainable for your health or the environment. On the other hand, 100% grass-fed beef is a very healthy food and is great for the environment. Cows that live on the land and eat grass are fantastic for creating fertile soil. Cow manure is the ultimate fertilizer because it adds essential factors back into the soil, including microbes. The concentration of microbes in the soil is what makes plants and animal products nutrient-dense. To maintain a healthy body, we need nutrient-dense foods. However, many ingredients used in plant-based meats, cheeses, and other products are GMO and inhibit microbial growth. The only way to get nutrient-dense foods is to consume food grown on nutrient-dense soil.
