My work offers a feminine, embodied approach to somatic meditation and spiritual awakening — one that begins not with effort or striving, but with tenderness, presence, and loving attention.At the center of my guidance is a practice I call Heart Attending: an invitation to awaken the heart to awareness, to meet yourself with kindness, and to allow loving attention to become the ground of healing and awakening.In a world that often pulls us out of ourselves — into speed, fragmentation, and self-judgment — this practice invites a return. A return to the body as an ally. A return to the breath as a home. A return to the quiet wisdom already living within you.Through Heart Attending, the body, breath, sensations, emotions, feelings, and perceptions become doorways — not obstacles — to presence and peace. As we cultivate gentle awareness and compassion toward ourselves, somatic and emotional healing unfold naturally, forming the foundation for all spiritual growth.The roots of my work are in Buddhist Vipassana meditation, with a deep emphasis on embodied awareness and the direct experience of body sensations. For over three decades, I have guided meditation groups, retreats, and classes, integrating this lineage with somatic, body–mind, and emotional healing modalities from both Eastern and Western traditions.In this podcast, you are invited to rest, to feel, and to remember what it is like to be at home in yourself.There is nothing you need to fix, achieve, or become.Just bring your presence.And let the heart attend.

It starts by waking up the body and mind through inquiry and awareness in movement.  The sitting meditation invites you to move through the body in imagination, from the dome of the skull to the soles of the feet, you begin to sense the ancient architecture that has always been holding you. And there, in the stillness, something unexpected opens. The bones are not the dead part of us. The ground underneath us. The body above it. The breath moving through. From there, we enter a body scan of liquid light, allowing the whole body — head, heart, hands, belly, legs, and feet — to become filled with healing presence. This practice invites us to remember that we are beings of light, rooted in the Earth and connected to all beings. We return to the simplest and most essential truth: we are alive. And with each breath—the gift of the trees—the world is beaming with life. Through the meditation of appreciation, even the tiniest particles of beauty—a flower, the moon, beans growing overnight, a loved one’s smile—become portals to bliss when received through the heart. Appreciation can also attend to pain, gently opening the layers of hurt that hold the heart hostage, revealing the divine light within. This teaching reminds us that while we cannot always control what happens in the world or in our minds, we can learn to shift our attention from overwhelming thoughts to the small, often unnoticed moments of beauty. We choose where we place our attention. And in choosing appreciation, even for the smallest things, we reconnect to life, to gratitude, and to the deep fullness of being alive.
